Assaltante de bancos mais perigoso do país é morto em confronto com a Polícia Militar em Confresa

Três membros de uma quadrilha especializada em assaltos a bancos foram mortos em confronto com a Polícia Militar, no início da tarde desta segunda-feira (20.01), em Confresa. A ação ocorreu no âmbito da Operação Tolerância Zero de combate às facções e demais grupos criminosos.

Entre os suspeitos mortos, está Antônio Edilson Pessoa Galdino, de 40 anos, conhecido como um dos maiores assaltantes de agências bancárias do país. Ele era procurado pelos crimes, desde 2008, nos Estados da Bahia, Paraíba, Minas Gerais e Pará.

Os outros criminosos foram identificados como Frederico Bandeira Alencar, que era procurado por homicídio, e Marcos Deley Soares Pereira, que também tinha mandado de prisão por tráfico de drogas, organização criminosa e lavagem de dinheiro. Marcos Deley também é considerado um dos maiores traficantes de maconha do país.

A ação foi um trabalho conjunto das inteligências da Polícia Militar de Mato Grosso, Polícia Militar da Bahia e Polícia Federal, que apontaram que uma quadrilha especializada em roubos a bancos estaria em Confresa. Após três dias de busca, os policias militares conseguiram localizar os suspeitos em uma chácara do município.

“O 10º Comando Regional conseguiu localizar e interceptar esses criminosos, que entraram em confronto com nossas forças policiais. A Polícia Militar de Mato Grosso está empenhada em dar uma resposta firme e forte de cumprir a missão do programa Tolerância Zero, para combater as ações criminosas em Confresa”, destacou o comandante do 10º Comando Regional, tenente-coronel Roosevelth Fabiano Oliveira Escolástico.

Quando as equipes se aproximaram para realizar a abordagem, os três suspeitos efetuaram os disparos. Os policiais revidaram, e houve troca de tiros. Eles foram alvejados e levados para o hospital, mas não resistiram e vieram a óbito.

Os policiais seguem na chácara para localizar outros possíveis comparsas da quadrilha. A Polícia Civil auxilia nas investigações.
