Câmara aprova doação de área para continuidade de projeto social de Tênis junto à crianças em Canarana

CANARANA – Por 10 votos favoráveis foi aprovado na Sessão Ordinária da Câmara Municipal da última segunda-feira (21), o Projeto de Lei nº 45/2021, que dispõe sobre doação de área de terras urbanas para o Sindicato dos Servidores Públicos Municipais de Canarana e a Associação Vem Ser Tênis Esporte Clube Canarana (TECC).

Em entrevista ao OPioneiro, o presidente do TECC, Élcio Ramalho, explicou que a Associação realiza um projeto social com crianças de escolas públicas há mais de cinco anos, chegando atender até 70 crianças. Além de aulas gratuitas, os alunos recebem raquetes, tênis e materiais utilizados nas aulas. A doação da área de 1.300 metros quadrados está condicionada à continuidade do projeto social.

“O objetivo do Projeto Vem Ser é dar oportunidade para as crianças de, mais do que ter aulas de tênis que é considerado um esporte de elite, estar em contato num meio social com pessoas que podem ser espelho para a vida delas”, explicou o presidente.

O projeto é financiado por integrantes da Associação e empresários da cidade. São pessoas que tem condições ajudando que não tem”, complementa Élcio.

O nome Vem Ser tem o significado de mudança. “Venha ser algo, venha fazer seu futuro, venha ajudar, venha fazer uma Canarana e uma sociedade melhor”, continua.

Conforme Ramalho, a hora que a pandemia der trégua, as escolas serão visitadas para o cadastramento de crianças, que farão aulas duas vezes por semana no turno que não estiveram na escola.
