Canarana recebe patrulha mecanizada para fortalecer agricultura familiar

CANARANA – O prefeito de Canarana, Fábio Faria (DEM), anunciou nesta terça-feira (9) a chegada de uma patrulha mecanizada que será disponibilizada para pequenos agricultores no município. O conjunto de equipamentos foi viabilizado por meio do programa Mais MT, do governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Agricultura Familiar (Seaf).

A patrulha é composta por um trator agrícola 4×4 com potência de 110 CV, uma carreta basculante com capacidade para seis toneladas e uma grade aradora com 18 discos de 28 polegadas.

De acordo com o prefeito Fábio, os equipamentos que integrarão a frota da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura e Meio Ambiente e ajudarão a fortalecer a ação dos pequenos produtores de Canarana.

“Temos que dar toda essa atenção para que o produtor consiga viver da terra. Essa é mais uma ajuda que Canarana consegue atender com um programa que vem desde o Governo Federal, Estadual e Municipal para dar melhores condições ao nosso pequeno produtor”, disse Fábio.

O gestor também adiantou que, no mês de maio, mais uma patrulha mecanizada será destinada ao município para reforçar o atendimento aos agricultores, por meio de emenda do deputado federal Carlos Bezerra (MDB-MT).

Segundo o secretário municipal de Agricultura e Meio Ambiente, Cleyton Dias de Souza, Canarana possui cerca de 70 pequenos produtores entre as agrovilas, assentamentos e demais chácaras. “Os pequenos produtores precisam dessa assistência, dessa ajuda que essa patrulha vai trazer para eles. […] Queremos cada vez mais ir melhorando essa patrulha”, explicou o secretário.

Ainda de acordo com Cleyton, além da patrulha mecanizada, a frota da Secretaria de Agricultura conta um Vincon (equipamento que espalha sementes e adubos) e um distribuidor de calcário que estão disponíveis para uso do produtor mediante ao pagamento de uma taxa mínima para ajudar na manutenção das máquinas.
