CUIABÁ – Os motoristas de aplicativo de transporte de ageiros contemplados com a isenção do Imposto Sobre Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA) devem requerer o benefício por meio do sistema e-Process da Secretaria de Fazenda (Sefaz). A isenção é aplicada aos veículos que utilizam Gás Natural Veicular (GNV) registrados e licenciados em Mato Grosso e que tenham potência de até 1.600 cilindradas.
Além disso, o motorista precisa ter cadastro junto à empresa do aplicativo de transporte e, também, ter realizado uma média mensal de 150 atendimentos entre 1º de janeiro a 30 de setembro do ano anterior.

O requerimento deve ser protocolado até o último dia estabelecido para registro ou licenciamento do veículo. Para 2022, o prazo segue o calendário de vencimento determinado pelo Detran. No caso de veículos com final de placa 1, 2 e 3, por exemplo, a data limite é até 31 de março.
Para requerer a isenção do IPVA, o motorista precisa preencher o formulário “Pedido de reconhecimento de isenção de IPVA” disponível no site da Sefaz, no banner IPVA 2022, opção Formulários e-Process. Ao protocolar a solicitação é necessário anexar os documentos que comprovam o direito ao benefício.
Dentre a documentação exigida está o comprovante de que o motorista atingiu a média mensal de 150 atendimentos no período determinado na legislação e que possui vínculo com a empresa responsável pelo aplicativo para transporte particular de ageiros.

Nos casos dos veículos registrados em nome de cônjuge ou companheira (o) do motorista, é necessário anexar ao processo cópia da identidade ou outra documentação de identificação oficial, não vencida, bem como a certidão de casamento ou o contrato que comprove a união estável. Em relação à identificação pessoal, deve ser apresentado os documentos dos dois cônjuges.
De acordo com a Sefaz, a isenção do IPVA para motoristas de aplicativo que usam GNV é limitada a um veículo. Nos casos em que houver mais de um automóvel, o benefício será aplicado ao veículo que apresentar maior valor médio de mercado.
É importante ressaltar que a isenção foi concedida a partir de janeiro de 2022. Para obter o benefício nos próximos anos, os motoristas devem realizar os procedimentos até o última dia estabelecido para registro ou licenciamento do veículo. Todas as regras referentes à essa isenção foram publicadas no dia 29 de dezembro de 2021, por meio do Decreto nº 1.229.
