Medeiros e mais 41 deputados apresentam pedido de impeachment de Lula por crime de responsabilidade

O deputado federal José Medeiros (PL-MT) e mais 41 parlamentares protocolaram um pedido de impeachment do presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), nesta quarta-feira (3) na Câmara Federal. Na denúncia, os parlamentares argumentaram que Lula deve responder por crime de responsabilidade ao ser omisso diante dos atos de vandalismo que ocorreram no dia 08 de janeiro deste ano em Brasília, uma vez que foi alertado por órgãos internos do governo do risco de invasão em Brasília.

”No dia 8 de janeiro de 2023, manifestantes avançaram sobre a sede dos Três Poderes em Brasília e realizaram grande depredação do Palácio do Planalto, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) e do Congresso Nacional. Tais atos configuram graves crimes contra a segurança interna do país, que deveriam ter sido evitados pelo Estado. No dia 09 de janeiro de 2023, foram divulgadas informações de documentos oficiais que mostram que a Agência Brasileira de Inteligência (ABIN) havia emitido vários alertas ao Governo Federal sobre a possibilidade real da invasão no dia 8 antes que os ataques acontecessem, inclusive sobre o possível uso de violência”, diz trecho do pedido de impeachment.

Medeiros lembra que foi amplamente divulgado que o Governo Federal foi alertado pela ABIN do risco de invasão, mas não tomou nenhuma atitude para reforçar o esquema de segurança nos prédios dos Três Poderes. “A falha na prevenção de tais atos, mesmo com antecedentes alertas, é inaceitável em um Estado de Direito e configura grave omissão do presidente da República em garantir a segurança e a ordem pública no país”.

No pedido de impeachment, os deputados também citaram o fato do então chefe do Gabinete de Segurança Institucional (GSI), general Gonçalves Dias, aparecer em imagens interagindo com os manifestantes. As imagens em que Dias aparece na cena do crime somente foram reveladas em 19 de abril. “As imagens envolvendo o general, que é homem de confiança de Lula, são gravíssimas. A Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito Mista (MI), que vai investigar os atos de 8 de janeiro, vai mostrar quem eram os infiltrados e a mando de quem eles agiram”, frisa Medeiros, que é vice-presidente da Frente Conservadora pela Liberdade na Câmara Federal.

Com este último pedido de impeachment, de autoria do Sargento Gonçalves (PL-RN), já são quatro denúncias protocoladas na Câmara com o objetivo de afastar o presidente petista do cargo.
